Geme User Agreement

Managed By: Geme Team

This Agreement is a legally binding contract between You (referred to as "User," anyone accessing/using Geme) and Geme Team (referred to as "we/our/us," the provider of Geme and its services). By any action related to Geme—including downloading the app, creating an account, or using its features—You confirm You have read, understood, and agreed to all terms below.

Important: If You disagree with any provision, do NOT use Geme or its related services ("Services") in any form.


1. Basics of This Agreement

What You Need to Know

· Full Agreement: This document replaces all previous conversations, messages, or promises about the Services. Using the Services means You accept this Agreement entirely.

· Updates: We may revise this Agreement (due to legal changes, service updates, etc.). When we do:

1. The updated version will be posted in Geme’s "Legal Center" with a "New Update" label;

2. We will email You the changes 5 business days before they take effect.

· Acceptance of Updates: If You keep using the Services after the updated Agreement takes effect, You agree to the new terms. To opt out, stop using the Services immediately.


2. Eligibility to Use Geme

Who Can Sign Up?

· Age Requirement: Only users aged 17 or older are allowed. By using Geme, You confirm You meet this age limit. We will terminate any account proven to belong to a minor (under 17) without prior notice.

· Legal Capacity: You must have the ability to enter into a binding contract (e.g., not under guardianship for mental reasons). If You don’t, You cannot use the Services.


3. Account Rules

How to Manage Your Account Responsibly

· Accurate Info: When registering, provide true, complete, and up-to-date details (e.g., valid email, username). Update this info right away if it changes.

· Security First: You are solely responsible for protecting Your account credentials (password, biometrics, PIN). Never share them with others.

· Unauthorized Access: We will never ask for Your password via email, in-app chats, or calls. If You notice unusual activity (e.g., unrecognized logins), notify us immediately.

· Your Liability: All actions under Your account—including uploading content, interacting with others, or making payments—are Your responsibility. We are not liable for losses caused by poor account management.


4. Service Usage Rules

What You Can and Cannot Do

4.1 Permitted Actions

· Use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes only (e.g., editing Your own photos, using storage features).

· Follow all local laws and respect third-party rights (e.g., don’t use copyrighted content without permission).

4.2 Prohibited Actions

Do NOT do any of the following—violations may lead to account suspension or termination:

· Break laws (e.g., spread illegal/violent/pornographic content, commit fraud, steal others’ data).

· Harm the Services (e.g., upload malware, overload servers, hack into backend systems).

· Use Geme for business (e.g., sell ads, charge for features) without our written approval.

· Copy or modify Geme’s software, logos, or trademarks.


5. Privacy & Data Protection

How We Handle Your Information

· Governing Document: Our data practices (collection, use, storage, protection) are detailed in the Geme Privacy Policy—this Policy is part of this Agreement. Using Geme means You accept these practices.

· Security Measures: We use industry-standard tools (encryption, access controls) to protect Your data. However, no online service is 100% secure—You acknowledge and accept this inherent risk.


6. Intellectual Property

Who Owns What

· Our Rights: All elements of Geme (software, logos, text, designs, trademarks) belong to us or our authorized partners. You have no right to copy, sell, or modify these without our written consent.

· Your Content: You own the content You upload ("User Content," e.g., photos, videos). But by uploading, You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to:

1. Use, store, and display the content to run the Services;

2. Modify the content to improve Geme (e.g., test new tools);

3. Promote Geme with the content (e.g., anonymized ads).

This license stays valid even if You delete Your account (unless You ask us to remove the content, subject to legal limits).


7. Warranties & Liability Limits

Our Responsibilities (and Limits)

· No Warranties: Geme is provided "as is"—we do not guarantee it is error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for Your specific needs. We also disclaim all implied warranties (e.g., merchantability, fitness for a purpose).

· Liability Limits: To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for:

1. Direct losses (e.g., data loss);

2. Indirect losses (e.g., lost profits, service interruptions);

3. Losses caused by third parties (e.g., other users’ actions).

Our total liability to You will not exceed the amount You paid for the Services in the past 12 months (if any).


8. Termination of the Agreement

When the Agreement Ends

· By You: You can terminate this Agreement at any time by deleting Your account and stopping all use of the Services. Note: Some shared content may remain in the system after deletion.

· By Us: We may suspend or terminate Your access immediately (no notice) if:

1. You violate this Agreement or applicable laws;

2. You engage in fraudulent or illegal activity related to the Services;

3. We are required by law (e.g., court order);

4. We discontinue the Services or a key feature.

· Post-Termination: After termination, You must delete the Geme app from all Your devices.


9. Dispute Resolution

How to Fix Problems

· Governing Law: This Agreement is governed by the laws of our registered jurisdiction.

· Negotiation First: If a dispute arises, both parties must try to resolve it through good-faith negotiation for 30 days.

· Arbitration: If negotiation fails, either party may submit the dispute to the arbitration institution in our registered jurisdiction. The arbitration award is final and binding on both parties.
